Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you trust it with care context.

AutismOS is still in early access. These answers keep the basics plain: what the app does, what Solara is for, and where the boundaries are.

Basics

What is AutismOS?

AutismOS is an early-access care management app for autism support. You can log what happened, keep a care profile, prepare for appointments or school conversations, and ask Solara for context-aware information.

Who is it for?

AutismOS is built for caregivers and self-managed autistic adults. The landing page lets you switch perspectives because the same tools need to work for both kinds of users.

Access

Can I use AutismOS now?

AutismOS is opening carefully during early access. Depending on launch mode, you may be able to sign up right away or request access from the waitlist. Existing accounts can keep signing in.

Why is access controlled right now?

AutismOS is still in testing and development. Access is paced so early users get a steadier experience while we monitor reliability, support capacity, and Solara response quality.

Solara

Is Solara giving medical advice?

No. Solara provides information, organization, and research context. It can help you prepare better questions, but it does not replace your judgment, clinician guidance, or emergency care.

Care records

What can AutismOS help track?

Early access focuses on care profile details, routines, notes, medications, dysregulation episodes, milestones, and context that can help make future conversations less repetitive.

Will Solara save or change records without asking?

No. If Solara wants to log a dose, add a routine item, or update care data, it should show what it plans to save and ask you to confirm first. You should still review important entries, especially medications, timing, and event details.

Research

How does the research feature work?

AutismOS searches curated research and guideline context, then uses the care profile to make results more relevant. Answers should include citations and plain-language summaries.

Privacy

What data reaches AI providers?

Your message is sent as written. Care-profile context is reduced before AI processing: AutismOS keeps only the first name, converts date of birth into age, removes city and country, and strips provider and prescriber details.

Do you use care data for ads or model training?

No. AutismOS does not sell care data, use care-profile data for advertising, or use your conversations to train AI models. Optional public-site analytics only measure things like signups and waitlist requests.

Future

Can AutismOS find local providers, funding, or openings?

Not yet. Today, AutismOS can help you prepare search criteria, questions, and next steps. Geo-matched resources and funding navigation are future directions, not live provider matching or eligibility guidance today.

Try one care conversation first.

Start with one real moment. AutismOS should make the next step easier to see.
